Project Overview
Teachi puts a tutor's whole workflow in one workspace. Teachers generate Cambridge-standard lesson plans, worksheets and homework with AI, then refine them in a rich-text editor where any passage can be highlighted and rewritten by AI. Existing material (PDF, DOCX or scanned pages) is imported and turned into structured, editable content, so teachers keep the work they already have.

- Custom Tiptap editor with inline formatting and highlight-to-AI rewriting
- Import of legacy lesson plans from PDF, DOCX and scanned images via GPT-4o vision
- Worksheets, homework and class management in the same workspace
- Subscription billing through PayOS (VietQR and bank transfer)
Technical Challenges
- Autosave and state sync shared by lesson plans, worksheets and homework: debounced persistence, optimistic local edits
- Merging AI-generated content into a document the teacher is still editing without losing their changes
- Turning messy scanned documents into a consistent, structured lesson-plan format
